We’ve spent years refining our processes to ensure the most streamlined and enjoyable building experience. This is a glimpse into what you can expect.
Initial Client Consultation:
We will meet with you to completely and comprehensively understand you and your hopes for your home. We explain our processes, introduce our team and values, and outline our preliminary service agreement.
2. Design Process:
Lets collaborate! We work with you and your chosen architect to design an initial concept plan. We consider site assessments, construction methods, design elements, desired features, and budget. Third-party consultants may provide additional details like soil reports, energy assessments and site surveys if required.
3. Costing Process:
We'll create an initial budget estimate from the concept design to align the design and budget. This phase includes revising plans and methods if needed. We develop a detailed scope of work and engage contractors and suppliers for accurate costing. You'll work with our interior design team on fixtures, finishes, and joinery design. A detailed Building Proposal will outline every detail and exclusion to avoid surprises.
4. Final Design and Development Approval:
Finalise your design and prepare all documents for development approval and construction. Complete internal and external selections with our interior design team. The final Building Proposal and Building Contract ensure that all the building details are finalised and ready for construction.
5. Construction:
Watch your hard work come together. You'll have regular site visits to observe progress and discuss any matters. Access our Builder Trend online portal for schedule information, progress images, and communication. The smooth construction process results from thorough pre-planning, minimizing variations and assisting in scheduling.
6. Handover:
Regular site visits mean no surprises at the final walkthrough before handover. We'll address any incomplete areas and provide information to maintain your home as you take ownership.
7. Maintenance:
Enjoy 3 months of maintenance support post-handover, plus access to product and manufacturers' warranties for their specified periods.
