Luke Doecke
Director & Builder
Since finishing high school, Luke has been passionately involved in the building industry, focusing on crafting unique and sustainable homes. He is deeply passionate about his craft, dedicating his career to creating spaces that his clients will enjoy for many years.
A natural people person, Luke is committed to providing clients with an exceptional building experience. He believes that clear communication, transparency, and a client-centered approach are key to achieving this goal.
Always eager to evolve and innovate, Luke passionately challenges industry norms, enhancing the building process to make it more enjoyable and collaborative. Under Luke's leadership, the Saxony team consistently sets new standards in the industry, driven by a commitment to lifelong learning and the well-being of both their clients and the homes they build.
Lisa Doecke
Director & Interior Designer
Lisa has always had a passion for all things interior design. With a diploma in interior design and a keen eye for detail, she combines her formal education with a natural talent and passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
After working as a primary school teacher for many years, Lisa transitioned to the design and construction industry in 2019. Her background in education gives her a unique perspective and a patient, detailed approach to her design work.
Lisa is dedicated to helping clients bring their visions to life, ensuring that every space she designs is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Her commitment to working alongside every client and her eye for the finer details makes her an invaluable member of the Saxony team and an integral part of our clients homebuilding journey.
Russell
Russell has been our leading hand at Saxony since 2018, embodying the heart and soul of our team. Passionate and proud, he sets a high standard for quality and attention to detail. Outside of work, Russell is active in the community, coaching junior sports teams and mentoring apprentices with supportive guidance. His leadership makes him a vital part of both our Saxony family and the community.

Since completing his apprenticeship at Saxony, Liam has excelled in 2nd fix carpentry, turning it into an art form he passionately perfects. His professional approach and commitment to excellence help mentor new apprentices, elevating the craft and quality of our projects. Liam’s leadership onsite and dedication to his craft make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Kane
Kane, who joined Saxony as a school-based apprentice in 2022, quickly made his mark by winning the MTESA Apprentice of the Year award in 2023.
He is rapidly mastering all aspects of building, showcasing impressive skills and a keen enthusiasm for the craft. Kane’s bright personality and dedication enhance every project, making him a joy to work alongside.

Marley
Marley started as a school-based apprentice in 2022 and was soon nominated for the MTESA Apprentice of the Year award in 2023. His eagerness to learn, from basic techniques to intricate details, makes each structure standout. Marley’s positive energy and commitment to learning shine through his work, promising a bright future in the building industry.

Zeke
Zeke became a part of the Saxony team in 2024, initially joining us for his school work experience. His outstanding work ethic quickly caught our attention, leading us to offer him a school-based apprenticeship in Carpentry. Zeke's rapid learning and impressive skill set make him a valuable asset to our team. Additionally, he's also a star player on the local football team.
